We are a guild of players with mature attitudes that work together in and out of quests, helping each other whenever we can.
We are a family guild with members that span all age ranges, including many husband/wife and parent/child teams that play together. For these reasons, member language is expected to be clean and civil during all times on party and guild chat as well as over any form of voice chat.
In order to maintain a positive and fun environment for all members, we have a set of guild guidelines that all members must follow. They are simple and easy to understand and can help everyone to have a good time. They are:
· Try to talk and work out any differences between disputing members without mediation from other guild members first.
Things to remember about our guild:
Ø The guild is looking for leaders to assume officer postions and duties. We are not looking for pushy, overbearing individuals.
Ø The guild is looking for members that get along well with their guild mates, not members who beg, are constantly causing problems, constantly complaining, or constantly trying to show up their fellow guild mates.
Ø The guild is looking for individuals that can mesh well with a team and have fun while clearing Xen’drik of its problems.
Joining the guild
Joining the Holy Warriors guild is relatively simple. You will need to seek out officers for the guild and follow the steps outlined below.
For characters that are levels 1 – 5. The goal of the Holy Warriors is to create a strong diverse group of guild mates that will continue through the advancement stages and establish a solid foundation for each character to help them become members in Devoted Acolytes.
This guild has an open recruiting policy. Anyone between 1st and 5th level may join the Holy Warriors. Many of our long standing members keep characters at these levels to help those that are new to the game. All you need to do to join is:
When characters reach 6 level or higher they will need to find a sponsor and request initiation into the guild on the guild forums.
For characters that are levels 6 – 10. The goal of the Holy Warriors is to create a strong, diverse group of guildmates that will continue through the advancement stages and build comraderie that will make this guild a united, fun guild that can take anything the world of Xen’drik hands us. The Holy Warriors gives characters of middle levels the chance to develop and grow within a tightknit group of guildmates while they advance in levels.
For characters that are levels 11-14. The goal of the Holy Warriors is to provide a friendly environment for members to feel a sense of community and belonging.
In order to join the Holy Warriors guild at levels 6 - 16, you must have a sponsor. Anyone who is a member of the Holy Warriors may sponsor an initiate into the Holy Warriors.
The Sponsorship process:
The sponsorship process in not a difficult one and is outlined below.
Once you have been voted a member in full standing, all your other character only have to request to be moved up. The do not need a sponsor as you have already proven that you are a good guild member. If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to ask any of the officers or post your questions on the forums.
Guild Quests
Guild quests are guild sponsored quests that are scheduled by one of our event coordinators and will be clearly titled as a guild quest in the events sections and the calendar on the guild forums. When on a guild quest (as well as questing with guild members) we utilize the following guidelines:
Guild Raids
1. There will only be two official guild sponsored raids per month. These raids will posted each month by either the guild leader or the raid coordinator. (Tempest Spine is not considered a raid for these purposes.)
For better communication and scheduling, all non guild sponsored raids that are posted here on the forums must be posted by the guild leader or raid coordinator, who has confirmed with the guild leader(s) that there are no conflicts with other scheduled activities. If you would like to schedule a raid, please contact the appropriate guild raid coordinator or post your request in the "Request a Raid" board. These non sponsored raids will not be an official guild raid so there will be no guild funds available.
(Note: This does not mean that you can not put together spur-of-the-moment raids, or plan one on your own through in-game communication, PMs, or any other way. We are attempting to reduce scheduling conflicts and confusion surrounding the posting of raids on these forums.)
2. In order to sign up for the official guild sponsored raid, you MUST BE raid ready. This means that you must have all prerequisites completed before you can be added to the list. Hopefully this will stop all the last minute pre-raid activities that seems to cause stress, conflict and postponements. Since there will be only two guild sponsored raids a month and we will post them well in advance, there will plenty of time to get ready and get your name on the list.
3. The guild sponsored raids will not be on a first come first served basis. We will attempt to include all who are ready and sign up in the raids. (IE if we get 20 members signed up we will split into two groups of 10 and go at it twice.) With this we hope to eliminate the times when people have been left out. If we do not get enough people signed up to successfully field two groups, then the raid coordinator will decide who will make up the raid party depending on the party needs.
Guild Officers
Each of the sub-guilds has its own set of officers that perform various functions within the guild. Here is a list of their titles and a description of what they do:
Guild Master – This person is the guild leader for the entire Holy Warriors Guild. They are responsible for recruiting, having fun, creating guild alliances, and resolving any grievances brought before them, and in general guiding the guild.
Guild Leader – Each of the sub-guilds have their own guild leaders. They are responsible for the officers and members of their individual guilds. Their responsibilities include recruiting, having fun, resolving any grievances brought before them, and in general guiding their sub-guild.
Advancement Coordinator/Promotion Officer - they are responsible with keeping up with request to join their "Prime" guild. They will post the voting for each person being promoted, and keep a record of who was the sponsor. The Promotions officer will report to the Scribe all newly excepted members, and will work with the Axeman on all members who where voted out.
Armor Master (storage) - They hold donated/tithe armor for that sub-guild. They may give them out to any guild-mate that may need them. They will store items that benefit the appropriate levels of that sub-guild and will work with the other Weapon Masters to distribute items as needed.
Axeman - they will be responsible to work with the Promotions Officer and Guild Leader to make sure all undesirables out of there "Prime" guild. The will also work with the Coin Lord to make sure that the person getting "Axed" does not owe the guild money or items. The Axeman can not just get rid of members without first telling the Guild Leader of the reasons, and getting their approval. They will then contact the person, remove them, send them a mail (a in-game character mail), and make sure they and all their alts are removed from the forums. The Axeman needs to know and understand the grievance guidelines for the guild as they will be making sure others use them correctly.
Banker/Coin Lord – They will hold all money donated to the guild from the sell of donated/tithe items/armor or weapons. They can use this money to buy needed items for the guild - or to do loans to guild members. The "Coin Lord" is responsible to make sure any loans are paid back over time. And to report to the guild leader if a member owes money and leaves the guild.
Event Coordinator/ Arena Master - they are responsible to help set up and organize Guild Quests. It will be up to each Arena Master and Guild Leader to agree upon times/days and quest they will be hosting. The Arena Master will then notify the Scribe and post it on the form calendar.
Miscellaneous Items Master (storage) - They hold donated/tithe miscellaneous items for that sub-guild. They may give them out to any guild-mate that may need them. They will store items that benefit the appropriate levels of that sub-guild and will work with the other Weapon Masters to distribute items as needed.
Scribe - they are the official secretary / minute keeper of all the guilds meetings and any other official correspondence. The Weapons/Armor/Misc. Items/Coin Lord all submit monthly audits to the Scribe - so the can post it on there guild forms.
Party Coordinator: the officer will be responsible for all the normal monthly contests that are sponsored by the guild. This will include Hero of the Month, Rookie of the Month, Screen shot contest, and Short Story contest. The officer will also be responsible for any other special event that is planned during the month. They will have to work with the other officers to make sure there is not scheduling conflict with raids, quests, or teaching seminars. All special events will need to be posted to the forums and added to the calendar. All prizes will be handed out by the Party/Contest officer (funds and items donated by the guild).
Weapons Master (storage) – They hold donated/tithe weapons for that sub-guild. They may give them out to any guild-mate that may need them. They will store items that benefit the appropriate levels of that sub-guild and will work with the other Weapon Masters to distribute items as needed.
Webmaster - they are responsible for the up keep and updates to the webpage/ forms. The will help and work with all the other guild webmasters to maintain a great site. They will also make sure that their "Prime" guild form is maintained, and all the old threads are deleted once every 3 months. They will report any updates or changes to the Scribe of their guild, so they can inform members of the changes.
